UPDATED | My Happy Place ♡ Makeup Vanity & Storage

Monday, April 13, 2015liifewithanna

Happy Monday Beauties! Hopefully you all have had your one, two, or three cups of coffee and have had a successful day so far! It's so beautiful here with the sun shining bright and green grass finally peeking through!! Hope the same is true for all of you as well! :)

I finally had some time to clean and re-organize my vanity so I figured I should do an updated post before things start to pile up again in this area. (Check out my previous "My Happy Place" post to see the difference! My vanity is a place where I can express my personality and display things that inspire me and make me feel beautiful. And this post is not intended to show off or brag - I just want to share one of the happiest places in my home for all of you.

This is a picture-heavy post, and the pictures really do speak for themselves, so I won't bore you with long explanations for every single thing. But if you do have any questions, please reach out to me and I will respond as soon as possible! Also, if I remember where I found some of the items, I will definitely mention it below each picture and will try to provide direct links.

ENJOY!

RIBBA Picture Ledge (45 and 1/4")

This letter "A" was a DIY gift from my younger siblings and it means so much to me, so it definitely had to be a part of my happy place!

If you're looking for a way to store your palettes upright, just use a napkin holder or letter holder. It's inexpensive and so practical.

Right now this shelf actually houses majority of my craft supplies, but once I get the chance to purchase another shelf, I will be transferring everything to my office space in the living room. Yay to more space for my beauty products!

Gotta always have a candle burning while I get ready in the mornings. It's so relaxing and therapeutic!

My most recent obsession... washi tape!!! If you're a planner addict like myself, then you need to check out my cute DIY planner ideas HERE.

This was a very simple and inexpensive DIY project. All you need is a candle stick holder ($1 from Dollar Tree) and an empty candle jar. Just hot glue the two together and you have yourself a cute and practical way to store anything you'd like!

This "Carpe Diem" wall art is another DIY project I did. Read all about it HERE.

Key Holder purchased from Target

I got this acrylic nail polish holder from my aunt last Christmas and I just love it so much! I do apologize since I don't know exactly where this particular one came from, but I know you can find similar ones on Amazon or Ebay for pretty reasonable prices.

I really do not enjoy this black cart since it doesn't match the rest of my vanity, however, it's still so functional and I'm a little hesitant to get rid of it. I guess we will just have to see how long I decide to keep it. And if you haven't already guessed it, my favorite drawer is the 3rd one! It's where I have all my new beauty products that I still have yet to test out and review for my blog!
